Just like when fresh at the restaurant the delivered pierogis were stuffed with creamy soft potato and subtle flavors! I pan fried them this time, will try boiling next time! I froze a few to save for later, but it’s so hard not to just eat them all! I will be ordering more soon and may try other varieties!

The dough is just so quintessential! My mom’s family are all Ukes, and I grew up on pierogies… My favorite were from the Ukrainian church/club fundraisers and festivals… but this dough!? Mamma Mia, out of this world. With the onions (and we always had them with onions)… it’s just so comforting and soooo tasty!! (I’m trying to add a pic - we had a power outage this weekend with the storms, so I saved them by cooking on the backyard grill. Not the prettiest composition, but they cooked and tasted amazing even under far from ideal cooking conditions!)
